Eric Bormaster graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in psychology and a minor in the business foundations program. He went on to attend Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law and obtained his Juris Doctorate  (J.D.) degree in 2002.

Prior to joining D. Miller & Associates, PLLC in 2003, Mr. Bormaster gained valuable legal work experience having completed a Judicial Internship with United States Magistrate Judge Marcia A. Crone, at the Southern District of Texas where he spent his time drafting “recommendations and opinions of law” for the courts review. He also enjoyed having the opportunity of participating in a Criminal Externship Program with the Harris County District Attorney's Office assisting the Assistant District Attorneys with trial prep and taking pleas before the judge in the juvenile courts at the family law center.

Since joining the D. Miller legal team, Mr. Bormaster has had the fortunate experience of assisting in the successful resolution of Mass Tort cases involving multiple plaintiffs against both a local chemical plant and a national railroad company. Currently Mr. Bormaster is working on major mass tort cases against various chemical plants/refineries situated throughout Texas. These cases involve both plant workers and members of the community. In these cases, D. Miller & Associates, PLLC is seeking substantial monetary damages stemming from physical injuries, economic damages, diminution in property values, and in certain severe cases, post traumatic stress. Mr. Bormaster is also assisting in the representation of multiple commercial property owners whose properties and businesses have been negatively impacted by major industrial accidents. He plans to continue developing the Mass Tort Department at D. Miller Associates, PLLC along with his colleagues.
