I arrived in Houston, Texas in the year 2000 at which time I chose to concentrate my studies in medicine. After spending enough time in the medical arena to learn that a great many in need of medical attention were hurt or injured because of someone else's conduct I decided to concentrate on the legal arena where I could lend a hand in helping those in need recover what they deserved.

Fate landed me at the Firm of D. Miller & Associates where I have spent the last five years learning from and working with some of the greatest people I know. While training under the Firm's Litigation Attorneys, I have had the pleasure of working in the Firm's accounting department, working as executive assistant to the Firm's office administrator and working as an assistant office manager. With five years of training under my belt, I am now proud to be the Senior Legal Assistant to one of the Firm's two P.L.L.C. Managers, Ryan B. Bormaster.  

Working with Mr. Bormaster has been an exciting experience with an always changing and extremely active case load. I have enjoyed the opportunity to prepare legal pleadings and discovery for his review, had the pleasure of working one on one with clients, and known the joy of preparing case exhibits for presentation in trial settings. I pretty much handle all of the litigation department’s day to day affairs, including but not limited to maintaining the calendar, the docket and the appointments of the litigation department. I investigate and research case facts, client's claims against opposing parties and I explore each case individually so that I can best assist when called upon, whether the subject matter be civil, criminal or a mixture of both.

I believe that every client is a priority and I understand that the reason they are here is because they want to be made whole for some perceived injury that they suffered at the hands of some individual or business.  I strive to do my part so that the attorneys that I work with are able to have every advantage as they work hard to make sure that our clients are fairly compensated.

In my free time I enjoy art shows, museums, live music, running, yoga, and spending time with my sweet miniature Dachshunds, Lucy and Bebe.
